Every healthy beginning plants the seed for a hopeful tomorrow. To mark the commencement of the new academic session 2025–26, a special assembly was held at Delhi Public School Asansol. The programme began with a soulful prayer, followed by the national pledge and a graceful Ganesh Vandana. A street play based on the theme of World Health Day was presented. The performance effectively highlighted the importance of hygiene, nutritious food and health through real-life scenes. The honourable Principal Ms Vineeta Srivastava addressed the gathering, extending a warm welcome to all. Senior DPSites were encouraged to be role models, take up leadership roles, and guide their juniors while upholding the school’s values. Teachers were acknowledged as pillars of the institution, for whom the school remains a place of continuous growth, inspiration and dedicated service. The significance of maintaining both physical and mental well-being was emphasised, underlining the importance of balanced living and self-care. The assembly concluded with the national anthem, leaving behind a sense of unity, inspiration and a collective resolve for a healthier, happier school environment.
