A highly engaging and insightful Career Counselling Session (2026-27) was conducted on 12.08.2026 (Wednesday) in the Audio-Visual Room for the students of Classes IX and X by students of classes XI & XII, with the objective of guiding them towards informed and purposeful decisions regarding their future academic pathways and career endeavours. In the presence of the Principal Madam, students were encouraged to undertake a thoughtful self-assessment of their interests, strengths, abilities, aptitude, and aspirations before taking any academic or career-related decisions, emphasising the importance of choosing a stream that genuinely aligns with their potential. The session then provided students with a comprehensive understanding of Science, Commerce, and Humanities, including their distinctive subjects offered by DPSA, required skill sets, challenges, and diverse career prospects. The Humanities segment was led by Souvik Sen (XI-C) and Yashwant Reddy(XII-C), the Science segment by Arpit Saha and Ayush Chowdhry (XII-A), and the Commerce segment by Arohi Srivastava, Devesh Rai and Saksham Bhojgaria (XII-B). The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating, raising questions, and gaining practical insights into the dynamics and opportunities offered by each stream including the real life experiences and exposure shared by the student counsellors. In a nutshell, the programme successfully reinforced the idea that stream selection is not merely an academic choice, but a significant step towards building a future with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
