THRESHOLD OF A RENEWED JOURNEY

THRESHOLD OF A RENEWED JOURNEY

The dawn of a new year brings with it a fresh purpose and strengthened resolve. The New Year Morning Assembly was conducted in an atmosphere of hope, renewal and quiet reflection as students were warmly welcomed into the academic journey of the year ahead. The assembly set a thoughtful tone, reminding everyone that New Year is not merely an occasion for exchanging greetings but a meaningful opportunity for personal growth and purposeful action. The programme included a brief news reading session, which kept the students informed about significant national and international events. This was followed by an engaging quiz session, during which students enthusiastically participated. A patriotic song was also presented, reinforcing values of harmony and collective responsibility. The gathering was then addressed by the honourable Principal ma’am, Ms Vineeta Srivastava, whose words resonated with inspiration and wisdom. In her address, she extended her heartfelt New Year greetings to all and spoke about the importance of utilising holidays wisely. Emphasis was laid on self-learning and constructive use of holidays. Sharing glimpses of her own childhood as a student, Principal ma’am reflected on how holidays were spent reading and strengthening language skills, inspiring students to adopt similar habits. Students were reminded to follow school rules, follow the school decorum, wear the prescribed uniform neatly, ask questions to subject teachers in class, respect elders and teachers and uphold the dignity of the school. Class monitors were advised to carry out their duties responsibly. The assembly concluded on an optimistic note, inspiring students to step into the New Year with confidence, responsibility and renewed commitment.
