Human rights—simple in essence, profound in impact—are the daily threads that weave a humane and equitable world. A special assembly was held on 10th December 2025 in Delhi Public School, Asansol to commemorate Human Rights Day. The programme started with a solemn prayer, followed by a brief reflection on the significance of the day. Students were acquainted with when and why Human Rights Day is observed and the session highlighted the importance of human rights in ensuring dignity, equality and justice for all. They were also made aware of the global challenges that hinder these rights and were given insight into India’s contribution toward creating a more secure environment. The assembly encouraged every learner to appreciate these universal values and uphold them in daily life.
