We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children. Delhi Public School Asansol conducted a special assembly to mark World Earth Day, focusing on environmental awareness and conservation. The centre of attraction was a thought-provoking skit highlighting the importance of protecting forests, conserving energy, and preserving ecosystems. Students presented inspiring quotes that urged everyone to act responsibly towards nature. A quiz was also conducted to enhance awareness about environmental issues. Students stressed the importance of sustainable living and the role individuals play in safeguarding the planet. The assembly was informative and engaging, leaving the audience with a renewed sense of responsibility towards Mother Earth.
