Under the aegis of the DPS Society, DPS Asansol selects all teachers via a rigorous process, concluding with a DPS panel interview. DPS Asansol considers all its teachers as important assets in fulfilling its goal of excelling in all matters of education. The teachers are well trained and highly motivated educators. Special emphasis has been laid on computer skills and expertise & they are equipped to take full advantage of the new e-learning revolution.

Regular professional development workshops are held, supported by VSAT technology, through DPSS Educational Management Centre, as well as programmes facilitated by other external training agencies and teacher training programmes. The Internal programs also allow for the integration for teaching techniques within the DPS family through exchange program, and regular and motivational workshops to keep the fire alive.

In addition, the School has its own Resource Centre to ensure that all its teachers employ innovative and effective teaching methods, and are thoroughly conversant with their subjects, updating content and methodology continually, in accordance with International research and development.
